Kazi Md. Kamrul Hasan is the Director – Legal & Compliance and Company Secretary of LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC. He is a highly accomplished legal professional and an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, bringing over 24 years of extensive experience in corporate law, compliance and governance.

Kamrul joined LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC in late 2023 as the Head of Legal & Compliance and was appointed as Company Secretary in 2025. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held senior leadership roles at major organizations including  Chief Legal Officer at A.K. Khan & Company Limited and Head of Legal & Compliance at Unilever Bangladesh Limited. His telecommunications and infrastructure experience includes managerial roles at Orascom Telecom (Banglalink), Nokia Siemens Networks, and GrameenPhone Limited   His expertise spans complex contract management, compliance risk mitigation, and large-scale litigation. Kamrul has been instrumental in streamlining automated governance processes and navigating intricate regulatory landscapes to support business growth.

Professionally, he is an enrolled Advocate at the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Mr. Hasan holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Chittagong, as well as a Diploma in Labour Laws from the Institute of Personnel Management. He has also completed advanced executive training in leadership, negotiation, and trial advocacy and Commercial Arbitration programs.
