LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC (LHB) has been awarded the prestigious Gold Award at the ESG Excellence Award 2026 in the 'Excellence in Implementing Circular Economy' category. Organized by the UN Global Compact, the awards celebrate organizations demonstrating exceptional leadership, innovation, and measurable impact across Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.

The sector leader honor highlights LHB’s ongoing commitment to driving sustainable industrial growth and positioning the company at the forefront of Bangladesh’s green economic transition.

Central to this recognition is the contribution of Geocycle to the environment. Utilizing advanced co-processing technology, Geocycle safely transforms industrial, municipal, and agricultural waste into resources. This circular approach diverts substantial waste volumes from local landfills while significantly cutting carbon emissions across manufacturing operations.

Salsabil An-Naba, Executive at Geocycle, received the Gold Award on behalf of LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC during the award giving ceremony held recently.
