LafargeHolcim Bangladesh wins SDG Brand Champion Awards 2025 in two categories

LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC (LHB) has once again been recognized for its outstanding contribution to sustainable business practices and innovative solutions at the prestigious SDG Brand Champion Awards 2025, organized by the Bangladesh Brand Forum. This year, LHB secured accolades in two categories - winner in Best Building Materials Company of the Year and Honorable Mention in Clean and Alternative Fuel Category.

LHB’s achievements reflect its continued commitment to aligning business strategies with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), driving progress in sustainable construction and circular economy solutions.

At the Award giving ceremony held on July 12, 2025 Mr. Mohammad Mahfuzul Hoque, Commercial & Logistics Director, and Ms. Farjana Ehsan, DGM, Strategy & Business Development, received the ‘Best Building Materials Company of the Year’ award. In the ceremony Mr. A K M Atiqur Rahaman, Human Resources Director, and Ms. Tamrin Chowdhury, Deputy Manager, Geocycle, accepted the Clean and Alternative Fuel award on behalf of the organization.

The SDG Brand Champion Awards celebrate organizations demonstrating exemplary leadership in advancing the global SDG agenda. With wins in two categories in 2023, one in 2024, and now two more in 2025, LafargeHolcim Bangladesh reaffirms its role as a sustainability front-runner in the building materials industry.
